The Family Reunions are very important in the busy lives that we lead today. There never is enough time for the extended family. Your lives get engrossed in work, children and your home and it is hectic. I know for Junior and myself , it was about 20 years that floated by and we did not see anyone in our extended family. It went fast let me tell you and people that we missed seeing died and you can never get that time back . Since the family reunions started we have lost twelve family members. So setting a day aside one time a year is a time to see the people you do not have the time to see ordinarily and reconnect with them.I know for myself, I have no family left and wish I had a family to go to a reunion to see. As you get older , family and your roots become more and more important to you, so let's keep those roots alive and healthy.
2010 Family Reunion
The 2010 Family Reunion will be on Saturday June 5th. It will be at the Walton City Park shelter # 2 . Hope everyone can make it this year.
