Almond Slaw

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. Shredded Cabbage
  • 1 C Sliced Almonds
  • 2 pkg. Chicken flavored Ramon Noodles
  • Directions

    Break up uncooked Ramon Noodles , Toast Ramon Noodles and almonds on a cookie sheet at 300 degrees about 20 minutes(Watch that they do not burn)Cool, mix cabbage , noodles , and almonds in a large bowl.

    DRESSING

    Ingredients:

  • 1 C Cooking oil
  • 6 TBSP. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 6 TBSP. Sugar
  • >
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 packages of chicken flavoring from the noodles

    Directions

    Shake well in a container with a lid-Add to slaw before serving-Mix well

Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • 2 Whole chicken breasts,cooked and broken into pieces
  • 1 C Cooked minute rice
  • 1 Can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. Minced onion
  • 3/4 C real mayonaise
Combine and mix well, put into a casserole dish .(It is better if it sits in refrigerator for several hours or overnight)

TOPPING

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 C slivered almonds
Mix and put on chicken , pour 1/2 C melted butter on topping . Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes.
*Note: Sue says she sometimes uses Ritz crackers instead of corn flakes and almonds.

Swedish Nut Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix with mixer

  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple(undrained)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 C. Sugar
  • add and continue mixing
  • 2 C. selfrising flour
  • 2 tsp. Soda
  • 1/2 C Chopped Pecans
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
Pour into a 9X13" pan that has been sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 350 degrees until cake tests done
