I am back with the "News" page. I am so sorry that I have been lax in doing this page. I have been babysitting this summer at my daughter Toni's every other week this summer. I drive there on Sunday of my week to babysit and stay all week and then come back home on Friday of that week. Then when I get home there are a ton of things to do. It has been hectic and I just have never gotten to this. I am still babysitting but.... I decided to take the time this morning to catch this up.
Hopefully you all will get back to checking into this page and site.

To be honest ,I really am not sure if this page is really looked at. I have not received much feedback on it. If you all want to keep this going e-mail me and let me know. My e-mail address is at the bottom of this page.I enjoy it very much so I am looking forward to seeing what feedback I get.

I am planning to revamping this website and making some changes to it. I really don't have the time right now but I think it will be this winter when things slow down. If there are any suggestions let me hear them, I am really interested.

I know with Facebook and everything you all are able to get your news out there yourself so a website is not as important as it used to be. I enjoy this forum also as it joins us all together. I intend to keep this site up and going but frankly I very seldom have anything to report on the News Page except the birthday's etc. So I may just change it around a little , I guess you can tell I am not sure what to do with it right now so just keep checking in and we will see what happens. Our News For The Month of August

Well the month of August was just as hectic as July with me running back and forth to Walton to babysit but.....It got worse...August 29th Toni had a fire at her house and everything is O.K. as far as no one got hurt but she is still staying at a hotel waiting for her apartment to be ready to rent.
Junior has not been feeling well and we have gone through some testing to see what is wrong. He had a Upper Endoscopy done on the 1st of September and they have done a couple biopsy's and we are waiting for the results from them. He also has an appointment with a vascular doctor the 13th of September. Hopefully we will get to the bottom of all his pain and he will get back to normal.
While at Toni's I have my spare sewing machine there and I sew while there. I have made 3 table runners while there , below are the pics of them.

The multi colored one I made for Lisa for her birthday.
Then I made a rag quilt baby blanket for a close family member (Wanda Vaughn).
Here is a Pic of it

This rag quilt was made out of flannel and was my first one , it measures 35" Wide by 42" Long. I thought it turned out real good.
Then there were the Potato Bags I have made. They are great for microwaving your baked potatoes in. They come out so moist and fluffy. All you do is just wash your potato off and while wet wrap in a paper towel and do not prick the potato at all. Slip it into the bag and microwave it. I have made about 15 of these but here is a pics of one.This one I made for Toni and I chose this material as she likes frogs so much. I have made them in several different materials.Junior says they make the best baked potatoes he has ever had.

So as you can see while I am at Toni's babysitting I accomplish a lot of fun projects that I wanted to get done !

Fire At My Daughter's House

Toni had a fire at her house yesterday (August,29,2010).No one was hurt but there was enough damage that she cannot live there. Keep her in your prayers and thoughts.

Prayer Requests

Please keep Jason's Fiance's Father Joe Jutz in your prayers. He has just been diagnosed with Parkinsonism which is a more aggressive strain of parkinson's disease. Life expecectancy is 1-2 years max. He needs everyone to to put him on their prayer list as I believe in the power of prayer.Thank You...

Rion's 1st Birthday

Noble Medical Information

I believe that it is very important to know a family history of diseases that may be highly prevalant in your family. These are some that has been really abundant in the Noble Family history. The Chrones disease is one that as far as I know has only shown up in my daughter , Toni but the other two are real problems throughout the Noble family. Then if you are like me, not only do my children have to worry about the Noble side of the family, My side of the family also had diabetes throughout (my mother died as a direct result of diabetes), so my kids have a double whammy. Their chances are twice as good they will have diabetes if they are not aware of how to take care of theirselves and lesson that chance.
I hope this information is a help.

Chrones Disease

As most of you all know ,my daughter,Toni has Chrones Disease. It is a terribe disease to deal with and there is no cure for it. She has had a hard time with it and has had two surgeries and has Remacade treatments every eight weeks . If you would like to know more about Chrones disease go to Chrones Disease

Diabetes

As some of you might also know diabetes is a big problem on the Noble side of the family. The two people that has been affected the most in the family are Brenda Corbin and of course Audrey "Tootie" Moore. Brenda has lost most of her sight, has had both legs amputated and has had one kidney transplant and that kidney has now gone bad and she is on dialysis.
Tootie was on dialysis and was waiting for a kidney when she unexpectantly died.They had/have the Juvenile Type Diabetes which is when you are born with it.
George Noble had lost most of his eyesight from this disease. Junior and I are both diabetic and we have Type Two Diabetes which comes as you get older.

Alzheimers Disease

This is a terrible disease and it also has affected a lot of the Noble's.Several dear members of our family lost the fight of this disease and Cora Jackson has been diagnosed with it. If you want to read about this disease go to American Alzheimer's Association.
