There are two talented and very special ladies in Mount Olivet that are taking their time to teach me and four other ladies to quilt. We meet every Monday morning at the Senior Citizens building to sew on our quilts. We have completed a wall hanging and are now working on a Hidden Spool quilt.
I want to thank Sally Fooks and Peggy Buckler for their patience with me as I am a very "sewing challenged" person. I am always way behind but sooner or later I catch up. We really have a good time and that is the most important thing. Thanks to the Senior Citizen Building for letting us use their room to meet.

This is Sally Fooks and Peggy Buckler and the quilt is Sally's Hidden Spool quilt. we all have or are in the process of making a Hidden Spool Quilt. I am behind as usual. I'll catch up though.
These are the two ladies that are teaching us. They are very talented and really work with us and help as much as they can. This is just three of many, many beautiful quilts that has been made by their group of quilters. If I can learn just a little of what they know I'll be one happy girl.

Fabrics layed out for the decision of which ones that Peggy will use for her next quilt. They are all so pretty it is a hard decision. This is the first step of course to making a beautiful quilt. To me it is a hard one to visualize how the finished quilt will look.

This is Sandra Murray's Wallhanging which she hand quilted. She is also a very talented artist.

Betty's wallhanging is almost finished. She has done a great job.

This is my wallhanging that I made.it is a Nine Patch. It is my first sewing project ever. There is a lot of mistakes but I am proud of it.
